My work operates at the intersection of art, architecture and activism examining the social, ecological and political forces that shape the built environment. I have particular interest in exploring the relationship between architecture, the body and power and how displaced and marginalized populations appropriate spatial, tectonic and urban systems.
Recent work includes projects that imagine urban renewal through affordable housing and radical gardening practices to disrupt defunct spatial typologies and zoning laws, new approaches to civic space that critically engage free speech, protest and the role of monument in the city, and how experimental performing arts spaces empower communities by blurring the boundaries between art and everyday life.
